Our Founders

  • Dr. Ravi Patel, is a dual board-certified physician in Emergency and Addiction Medicine. His extensive experience in fast-paced, critical care settings, combined with a deep understanding of patient needs, led him to specialize in addiction medicine. Dr. Patel employs a harm reduction and empathetic approach to treating patients, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals battling substance use disorders.

  • Leveraging over 30 years of combined law enforcement and addiction treatment expertise, former Police Chief Michael Petersen co-founded MaVie Telehealth with a mission to provide accessible care and a pathway to recovery for ALL individuals struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
